KARL HARPUR
SCRIPT WRITER
Our Script Writer is Karl Harpur who originated from County Kildare in Ireland. He worked there professionally for 15 years before moving to Los Angeles in 2012 where he currently resides.
As well as a professional writer, he is also a professional actor. He performed in The Shawshank Redemption (Gaiety Theatre), Keano, The Ha’penny Bridge (Point Theatre). Was Jonah in the award winning film Mourning Glory and Con in the The Con Saw Tina Affect. Since 2008 Karl has directed and penned numerous Pantos for Theatre Worx Productions and Robert C. Kelly Productions at the Helix, Dublin and University Concert Hall, Limerick. He has transformed the genre of Panto in Ireland with his cinematic direction and witty scripts.
Since moving to Los Angeles, Karl has been nominated for his writing at the renowned comedy festival The Toscars – a parody film festival of The Oscars. His film Cavity (Gravity) directed by Tim Russ (Star Trek – Voyager) was also nominated as Best Film at the ceremony held at the world famous Egyptian Theatre on Hollywood Blvd.
In June 2018 he was head hunted to direct a new musical at the Olympia theatre, receiving in the process rave reviews.

Away from the musical, he loves spending time with his daughter, walking his dog, meeting up with friends and making the most of the Southern California sunshine!
